3D City Models exist already, now it is time to make applications on top of them. The goal of the 3D City Model Hackathon is to create an application related to city planning, urban digitalization, living, traffic & transportation, energy, environment that utilizes the 3D City Model of Espoo and open data provided by the organizers.


3D City Model Hackathon is a part of Energizing Urban Ecosystems (EUE) project. EUE project focuses on developing new business models for Smart Cities.

Otaniemi 3D city model provided by Sito is to be used in the Hackathon Otaniemi 3D model

The 3d model is also provided in fbx, dae and obj formats for WebGL use
